Terms & Conditions
You agree to abide by all local laws and program rules.
You are not to proselytize or promote any political or religious opinions.
As a participant you assure that you have no criminal record.
It is your responsibility to yourself, to us, and your placement to tell us if you have any physical or mental conditions or need to take any medicines/drugs.
We reserve the right to terminate the program period, without refund, if the participant is breaking the law or seriously endangering themselves or those around them.
A deposit or administration fee of 150 USD, is required in order to secure your booking. Lead Adventures guarantees your placement only after successful payment receipt of this security deposit.
You cannot borrow money from your placement or LEAD Adventures Projects.
All participants are required to have travel insurance coverage for the full length of their stay in Ecuador. Your insurance policy should cover accidents and medical treatment, repatriation and emergency return as well as trip cancellation costs if possible, in case your trip should terminate before expected.
Lead Adventures can provide a quotation for travel insurance; we make sure everything you need to be covered.
Although we guarantee your placement, LEAD Adventures reserves the right to change you to a similar project, in case your original placement suffers unforeseen changes before or during your experience.
Participants should leave their rooms clean before departing a placement. Participants are not to bring friends to their placements without prior agreement with LEAD Adventures.
Participants are responsible for any damage they cause to LEAD Adventures or their placement and accommodation.
Present and previous volunteers are welcome to our volunteer houses during their free time and can stay there when a room or bed is available.
LEAD Adventures reserves the right to use photos we or someone else takes of you. They may be used in our brochure or on our website. Also any comments (written or verbal) you make during or in connection with your placement may also be used for promotional purposes without your prior permission unless you specifically tell us not to. Such use may include mentioning your name, age and nationality.

PERSONAL DATA
LEAD Adventures will not pass on any personal or private data to any third party without your explicit approval.
By paying the deposit, you acknowledge that you have read and agree with our Conditions and Code of Conduct.
CODE OF CONDUCT
Participants of the program must comply with country laws, LEAD Adventures’ and local rules.
Participants should travel to and attend the placement volunteer work according to the agreement with the placement.
Participants may not take on any paid or voluntary work with outside companies unless agreed upon with LEAD Adventures.
Participants should respect local dress and behavior codes as outlined in the volunteer handbook and culture training. Dress and appropriate behavior at the placement are requested, including free time.
Participants must behave in a manner that does not bring their country, the placement or LEAD Adventures into disrepute.
Participants of legal drinking age (18) may consume alcohol in moderation, even if offered by other people, and must not drive any vehicle while under the influence of alcohol.
Unprovoked violence towards anyone is grounds for immediate dismissal from LEAD Adventures.
